• Our story

We both dedicated our lives as teenagers to live for the spread of the gospel, and before meeting, had each spent the entirety of our adult life in ministry. As a married couple, we pioneered a work in Osaka, then another in Miyagi, where we pastored for many years before, during, and after the Great Tohoku earthquake. Later we worked in Tochigi at the HQ of the church network we had been a part of. During a season of intentionally taking time to hear from God about what we were to do next, God began to show us that there is another way.

    “COME DEEPER INTO MY HEART.”

This is the invitation we heard from Him.

Our focus shifted from what we do to Who we walk with: from having our focus pulled to the demands and activities of our ministry, to letting our attention rest fully on the One who is leading us. We became more aware that life is a journey with God where we experience more and more of his beauty and wonder as we go.

There is a hunger in the hearts of people for the real and authentic. God is raising up a generation who seeks after His heart and the treasures of His kingdom. These are a new breed of risk takers and change makers, who dare to risk into an adventure, who will not settle for less than the real life in God.

This is why we started WILDBRANCH.

It’s an invitation into the beauty and wonder of life in God, a wholehearted walk with Him in our everyday.

We help and encourage people to live from the heart, and walk with them in finding their unique, beautiful stories in God, stories that point to and glorify Him. We are here to stand and work with the church of Japan to see His plan unfold for our generation.

Join us in the journey into the deeper places in the heart of God!

“One thing have I asked of the Lord,

    that will I seek after:

that I may dwell in the house of the Lord

all the days of my life,

to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord

and to inquire in his temple.”

    Psalm 27:4

Jesus is beautiful. And life is beautiful.
